ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Thomas Langmaack

Mr. Langmaack is a music educator, having studied at Kean University in both music education and performance. There he studied music education methodologies from ranging kindergarten through 12th grade.

He attained his Master’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Educational Leadership where he studied the latest in educational research and pedagogical methodologies.

Cara’s Train Ride

Cara was only in the neighborhood for a month and she had not met any friends yet! One day she decided to go out for a walk and see what was up in the neighborhood.

She was walking down the street when she saw a hill and decided it would be fun to climb it and run down the hill.

Cara Meets Donny

She was just about to fall asleep when she heard this awful noise. It was a dog barking and making a racket. She looked out of the train car and saw this dog running around in circles and barking like, well, barking like a DOG!

Cara and the Hill

Donny and Cara walked for a while and finally arrived at a park. They walked in the park and Donny knew of a lake where there were vines hanging over it

When they got there, Donny told Cara what they were going to do. Donny said, “Cara, have you ever jumped from a vine into a lake?” Cara said, “No, and I don’t think I want to learn!” Donny said, “Oh, it’s easy! You can just follow me.”
